20 licensed dispensary locations statewide, with 18 open now (mapped from the Georgia Access to Medical Cannabis Commission, refreshed nightly), 2 licensed and opening soon. There are also 74 participating independent pharmacies (a partial, hand-verified list; see the note below).

Every location here holds an active GMCC dispensing license — verify any license on the state's site. Some dispensaries also stock hemp‑derived products, which are outside the medical program and not regulated by the GMCC.

These locations hold a state dispensing license but aren’t open yet, so they’re not on the map. They appear automatically once the GMCC lists them as operational.

Participating pharmacies

Georgia is the first state to let independent pharmacies dispense medical cannabis. As of August 3, 2026, 72 pharmacies hold an active Low THC Pharmacy license from the Georgia Board of Pharmacy, which is the license that actually authorizes dispensing. Widely repeated coverage put the figure at “nearly 120” in July; the license roster does not support that, and we counted it ourselves rather than pass it along. We map the 74 we can verify with a confirmed address (participation changes, so confirm before you go). The roster isn’t published as a downloadable dataset; to check it yourself, search the Georgia Board of Pharmacy license verification and filter License Type for “Low THC Pharmacy.”
