Undoing a stigma that was never earned
Cannabis was medicine for most of human history. It sat in the U.S. Pharmacopeia for nearly a century before politics, not science, wrote it out. Three generations then grew up hearing it was dangerous, addictive, and worthless as medicine. Almost none of that held up once researchers were finally allowed to study the plant.
Live Oak Cannabis exists to close that gap. We gather the history, the science, and the plain facts about cannabis in one calm, well-sourced place, so a nurse, a veteran, a grandparent, or a curious neighbor can get honest answers without the hype or the fear. Nothing here is for sale. We just lay out what the evidence actually shows, including the risks, and let people decide for themselves.
The stigma around cannabis was manufactured, and we think the way to undo it is not to argue louder but to teach clearly. When people understand the endocannabinoid system, read the real research on benefits and harms, and see how prohibition actually happened, the shame that got attached to a medicinal plant starts to fall away.
